Rain is the last thing you want to happen during your camping trip. It can put a hitch in all the fun outdoor activities you had planned and possibly even ruin some of your supplies. Bad weather doesn’t have to end your whole camping trip, though. There are a variety of activities that you can do even when it is wet.

Make A Mud Castle

Who says you aren’t allowed to get dirty? Play in the mud and see who can make the biggest mud castle, or collaborate to make one giant castle together. If you like, you can visit a nearby store for sandcastle molds to help make your creations. You can still have fun outside even when there’s a little rain. 

Go Fish

If you’d rather stay in your tent or cabin, you can always break out a deck of cards to play with. You can play an old favorite such as Go Fish, or learn something new. You might even try to create a brand new card game together. There are a lot of ways to have fun with a deck of cards inside beavers bend cabin rentals.

Go Fishing

If you’re more a fan of the real sport, fishing can be a nice way to take advantage of a drizzle as long as there’s no lightning. Fish love rain, as do worms, so you are sure to be able to find plenty of bait and catch plenty of fish if you go out when it’s raining. 

Rain during a camping trip can be a bummer, but there are ways to enjoy the day even if you have to cancel some of your plans. Whether you prefer to stay cozy inside or get messy in the mud, just enjoy your trip and remember that the sun will come out again soon.
